What are you selling?
We sell pro quality, studio recorded blues backing tracks in a wide variety of styles. Every download comes with 10 killer blues licks with tab and audio giving you some great sounds to add to your repertoire instantly. The main goal of the website is to give you the tools to radically improve your blues playing, giving you a ton of ideas and licks to constantly keep your skills evolving and your sound fresh!

How long are the backing tracks?
Most of our tracks run somewhere between 3 and 5 minutes.
Will you be adding new material?
We're absolutely dedicated to making this site the best resource for blues guitar playing the internet has to offer. We'll be regularly updating the site and our product range to give you even more ways to improve your playing!
Are these actual songs by famous players?
No, this music is all original, though we do have a range of backing tracks inspired by famous players or certain songs. Eg Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, BB King.
What EXACTLY do I get with each download?
With every download you get the full length backing track, and 10 killer licks with tab & audio written specifically for each track.
Are these real sounds or dodgy General MIDI sounds?
All our backing tracks are recorded by real musicians, with real instruments, in a real studio, you won't hear any cheesy MIDI sounds here, it's all played live and REAL!
BUYING ONLINE
Your prices are in US Dollars, how can I pay if I live somewhere else?
You can buy our products wherever you are in the world. When you pay, the PayPal site shows the total price in your local currency. To check our prices in any of the currencies around the world, you can use the Universal Currency Converter .
I'm worried about buying things online
We use secure payment and download systems created by a reputable company. We also have a comprehensive set of Terms and Conditions and a Privacy Policy which we recommend you read to put your mind at rest. Payments are processed through Paypal, so we never see your bank or credit card details.
How does the payment process work?
1. When you're ready to pay, click "View Basket", and check that the contents are correct.
2. Enter your email address in the box provided. PLEASE check this carefully... this email address is where we'll send your unique download code!
3. Click the PayPal icon and you'll be transferred to the Paypal site. If you have a Paypal account, follow the login instructions. If you don't have a Paypal account, no problem, just scroll down to pay with a standard credit card.
4. After payment, you will immediately receive an email containing a link where you can securely download your purchase.
How do I open the zip files?
We use the .zip format for faster, more secure downloads. To open these files you'll need a program such as WinZip or Stuffit Expander . Your computer's operating system may have zip expansion built in; this is certainly the case with Mac OS X.
DOWNLOAD PROBLEMS
How long should it be before I receive my email containing the download link?
There may occasionally be a slight delay in receiving your confirmation email depending on the current level of internet traffic. Typically you should usually receive it either instantly or within a few minutes of making payment.
I haven't received my confirmation email, what should I do?
Check your junk mailbox - your spam filter may be diverting our emails, because it doesn't recognise the sender name. If you can adjust your security settings, try using a "Medium" level, allowing mail from addresses not in your address book or trusted list. Or at the very least, add " noreply@ultimatebluesbackingtracks.com" to your address book.
This spam filter problem is a common problem and unfortunately lies out of our control, it seems to affect Hotmail, Yahoo, Verizon and Comcast worst of all. If you can use a different address, please do! If you need a free email service, we can recommend Google mail.
Please make sure you have given us an accurate AND functional email address! We'll do whatever we can to get your jam tracks to you, but please help us by making sure your inbox isn't full. Again, Google is a good option here, as you get plenty of storage space.
I still haven't received my download email!

Can I get a refund?
Sure! We're so confident that our backing tracks will rock your world, if you're unhappy for whatever reason, drop us a line and we'll refund you no questions asked!
TECHNICAL QUESTIONS
How good is the mp3 quality?
All mp3 tracks are encoded at 192kbps. We feel that this is the best compromise between sound quality and download time. You can hear for yourself... the product pages have free previews for all tracks.
What do I need to listen to the mp3s?
There are several options for mp3 software. Apple's iTunes is one of the best, and works on both Mac and PC. All of our audio tracks have complete ID3 tags, so just select "Add to Library" (or just drop the audio files onto the iTunes window) and iTunes will arrange them according to album. For the PC, there's also Winamp or Windows Media Player. If you prefer to use a CD player, just burn the mp3s onto a CD (remember to choose "audio CD" format).
What do I need to view the transcriptions?
All of the transcriptions are provided in PDF format, which will work for both Mac and PC, as long as you have Acrobat Reader (Mac/PC) or Preview (Mac only). These programs are available for free, and can be downloaded very quickly.
